Laser DR Recommendation Responses

    • Controls Rec FY24-DR-16: Need a dedicated system engineer or lead to own the control system flowchart for automation. 
      • Maybe need to start with use-cases. 
      • Need assistance from system engineering team. 
      • Steven would like an example of the automation flowchart from LLNL and LLE. 
      • Workshop - Eric Cunningham would be a good resource to bring in. 
    • Barry Fishler Nate Landis Jing Yin to add input to recommendations in the "Notes" section. Alex Wallace to review and add input at a later time.

MEC-U Controls FMEA

  • Live document is uploaded to SharePoint. 
  • Starting with failures and causes then will send out to review for mitigations. 
  • Looping in system engineering next week to go over the project's FMEA process and where things will be stored.

EPICS Archiver


  • What type of data is LLNL hoping to capture with EPICS archiver? 
  • What does LLNL want to do with the data? 
    • Answering will help Zach to start determining what solution can be made to meet LLNL's needs. 
  • Proposal of proof of concept: 

    "This should be at 10Hz, and running a standard GigE Vision configuration (5 cameras per host)".
