How to give access to project pages

Access to the unrestricted pages  can be requested for and by any confluence user through ServiceNow by any SLAC employee: request for them to be added to the group lclspw-confluence-editors. This is automatic when requested by the site admin (gilliss).

SLAC employees who have never before used Confluence will need to log in a first time before they can be added.

    Following the link here ("Outside collaborators can get a slac account that will let them take the above action by going to https://signup.slac.stanford.edu. They should specifically mention the confluence page they hope to be added to, and an administrator or at a least core group member's name.") leads to a message saying "The signup service is not currently available. We have no estimate when or if it will be back." Is this the same issue as that reported here? Do we have a plan for a new procedure to connect our external collaborators with our internal Confluence documents? (Presently I'm asking on behalf of members of the LLE team working on safety systems.) Thanks!

      Please send Selina or Ji Kim the name and email address of the person who needs access, or directly add them to the Smartsheet list we keep: https://app.smartsheet.com/sheets/2Fj4phmm62Mh3J6qH6pwmmcf7G8g2mqwxcFmfcQ1. We will then submit a ticket to get accounts created until the service is back online. Typical the request is sent on Wednesday and accounts will get generated on Thursday.
