45DR Slide Templates and DR Preparations

Level 2 Controls and Data Systems - Alex Wallace

  • Likely only need one or two slides for Data Systems since it's not too complicated for MEC-U.

Level 4 - LLNL and LLE Controls - Nate and Vince

  • Went through L4 slides.
  • Should check with Ginger that these are the final templates so we can start making copies.
  • Confirmed that we will do laydowns and dry runs again later in the summer.

Regarding Documents (specifically ICDs) - Kai said that the project is asking to release ICDs if they need a light push to get released, but is not asking for heavy lifts to get ICDs out.

Announcements/Updates:

  • CF Utility Sheet will close. Moving to ARUP sheet
  • LLE and LLNL cable plant requirement updates.

CF List

  • LLNL and LLE have not captured LCP requirements.
    • Once ARUPs list is available, we will start including these. Mitchell to inform Charles.

Controls Infrastructure

  • Nate's understanding was that SLAC was going to buy all the racks and LCPs for the HELP system as well. Need to ensure Jing Yin and Alex Wallace are on the same page with this.
    • SLAC is specifying the rack model and cooling solution, and there is no onsite laser FAT for the HELP, so this may make sense for SLAC and LLE.
  •  Rather than focusing on volume, we should stay focused on the routes.
    • LLE believes their cables will be a very small quantity and volume compared to what SLAC is used to in LCLS.
    • LLE also is not honed in on their cable selection yet and will likely not be for some time, so volumes are hard to estimate now.
    • LLE will be integral in the PFN cable conduit design. Should not be done by CF (I think this is understood and the MEs are engaged on this).
  • Need to talk with Ted Osier regarding the new layouts and confirm rack locations (particularly for LLE).
