Event Requests

General Information

Custom data sample requests can be submitted to Norman Graf, who may direct you to existing files, should they exist.

Upon your job is completed, datasets will be uploaded to the FTP server, and the location will be sent to you via email.

Simulation Package

Our current Geant4 simulations package is SLIC, which uses StdHep input files and outputs LCIO. It can model a wide variety of detector geometries.

The Detectors Index lists the publically available detector models.

Custom geometries should be in the compact format, which is translated to LCDD using GeomConverter.

If we do not have the type of events you wish to simulate, you should provide the StdHep files to us. One popular package for generating e+e- events is Pandora Pythia.
