- Study of ions in the HIP and GAM filters (Fred)
I analysed ~1000 s of big run and took a look at the ions which pass HIP and GAM filters. For each series of 3 plots below , the 1st one shows all events, the 2nd one the events in the HIP, the 3rd one the events in the GAM filter. Each of the 6 series plots a different variable (CalEnergyRaw, CalELayer0, McCharge, r01=CalELayer1/CalELayer0, r12=CalELayer2/CalELayer1, total multiplicity=sum of number of hits above 50 MeV in CAL first 3 layers). In each canvas I superimpose the distributions for:
- all events (black)
- events firing trigger engine 4 (red)
- events with a good multiplicity in each of the CAL first 3 layers (HIP bit 28 - green)
- events passing the same cut from my own computation using the caltuple (blue)
- events with a good energy marching (within 20%) in each of the CAL first 3 layers (HIP bit 27 - yellow)
- events with the same cut from my own computation (magenta)
