This serves as a guide for moving the Jungfrau detector off and onto the DSA location.

Step-by-step guide


NOTE: It is good practice to check that vacuum levels are at atmospheric conditions (760 torr) prior to disconnecting flanges. This should be checked on the control screens and manual gauges.

  1. Disconnect both 14" flanges on each end of the Jungfrau. The screws will act as guide posts for pulling back the bellows. Note: There were interference issues with the Optique Peter, on the top 4 screws of the flange located in the +z direction.
  2. slowly pulling back the bellows and securing onto lead screws. This requires a minimum effort of 2 people.
