In the detector group, we use two types of chillers (both from the same manufacturer):
- Thermotek T257P - 210W
- Thermotek RC22A750-50R0-FSC - 700W. 3U rack mounted. The "50R0-FSC" refers to option 2 (gear pump) of their pumping system, which allows up to 43.5psi of pressure. E.g. https://www.thermotekusa.com/product.php?pid=107
The specs allow for distilled water or glycol. However, we've had trouble getting glycol to work with these chillers, so we use distilled water.
The controls for both chillers are (almost) identical. The same IOC can be used for both. The only difference I've seen is that the flow rate does not show up on the front panel of the smaller chiller.
