The last DH meeting was mainly concerned with a PUG charter from Tom and some from Jim thoughts about how the new Data Catalog will have to categorize data files.
The PUG Charter presented by Tom is located here, main points are:
Pipeline User's Group Charge(s):
- "...to scope out what common tools and conventions will be needed for Pipeline 2."
- "...the kinds of metadata that could go with datasets."
- Assemble the pipeline tasks needed to support the 2006-2007 Service Challenge:
- Interleaved background MC, and generation of the Level 0 datasets
- Full "L1" data processing of the L0 datasets
