The last DH meeting was mainly concerned with a PUG charter from Tom and some from Jim thoughts about how the new Data Catalog will have to categorize data files.

Jim's thoughts on Data Catalog meta-data are located here. He's included specific examples for AllGamma data, Flight and Simulated data, and an example use case for GRBs.
The new data catalog (2) is a work in progress. Dan has been working on importing Pipeline 1 data to provide a working set for the tools that will operate on it (data server, pruner, peeler, etc.) There have been some hurdles (java code running on the oracle db server) that have slowed development. A workaround to some of these problems has been implemented this week and we should have a rudimentary catalog with data by the end of the week.
