Drivers
You can use either the editor/compiler built-in to JAS to create new analysis code (Drivers), or the full power of an Integrated Development Environment like Netbeans. There is less overhead to getting started with JAS, but if you intend to write a significant amount of code, the features in Netbeans will make writing code much easier.
