I have added a very basic checkout package to users/TkrGroup called TkrGroupCheckOut. So, to get the code in the development area, check out users/TkrGroup/TkrGroupCheckOut and then do a recursive checkout of it. One undesirable feature, it will put all the files into a TkrGroup subfolder of the users subfolder of your development area. You then need to copy the packages to the development area (or set another cmt path to that area as well). Maybe Johann knows how to fix this?

  1. MRvcmt has the capability to pass the cmt – o option. In which case you can offset the checkout directory by issuing cmt co – o users/TkrGroup TkrGroupCheckOut. So with MRvcmt, click on Packages-->Checkout and write users/TkrGroup in the Offset line.
  • Actually, not the question I was asking. I have a checkout package and want to use the "add recursively" button, so I need something in the checkout package's requirements file that will know where to find the packages in cvs but put them in a slightly different location... How do I do this?
