The Silicon Detector (SiD) Design Study for the ILC will hold a Workshop in the UK on the 14-16 of April 2008. Everyone participating in SiD, as well as those interested in joining and learning more about SiD, are welcome to attend and urged to register and make travel and accommodation plans.
Dear Colleagues,
Please plan to join us for SiD's next monthly collaboration phone meeting, Thursday, December 6. We are trying to discuss the issues currently before SiD, to get everyone's input and to keep everyone informed.
We'll start the meeting 15 minutes early to allow everyone to connect via webex (instructions below), and get started promptly 6AM (SLAC time) with the meeting proper.
The meeting times rotate to share the pain, region to region. This time they will be as follows:
SLAC 6AM
FNAL 8AM
BNL 9AM
RAL 2PM
Annecy 3PM
KEK 11PM
The meeting agenda can be found at: http://ilcagenda.linearcollider.org/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2431
Everyone is welcome to suggest agenda items. Please let us know before the meeting if there is something you would like to see discussed, and we'll try to get it included, at least next meeting if not this one. Note that there is (hopefully) time left for "open mike."
This is a webex meeting. Instructions below.
We hope you join us,
Harry and John
