Starting the LCLS Home Screen From a CUD - MCC OPI

This page provides instructions for bringing up the LCLS Home Screen on a CUD. Conventions

$ represents the command line prompt. Type the text to the right of the $ on the command line.

Starting the LCLS Home Screen

There is an icon "lightning Bolt" when hovering over the "LCLSHOME icon on a SunRay". This will allow you to select a specific SunRay Display and then starts lclshome.

Please choose which Display:

1.mcc138b
2.mcc138u
3.mccsr138
(1,2,3)->

What is a Sunray

The SunRays are Ultra thin clients being managed by two Sunfire V240 Servers (e.g. sunsrv00 & sunsrv01). The SunRays connect to a Server at bootup and that session is managed by the Server.
