Introduction
This workspace serves as a supportive environment for developers to facilitate application development, testing, and deployment within the new EED software infrastructure. This infrastructure is built upon Kubernetes clusters and leverages a robust CI/CD pipeline to efficiently build, test, and deploy application artifacts. Notably, separate clusters are designated for the test and production environments, ensuring distinct operational spaces.
Infrastructure component
This workspace is a central documentation resource for those developer that wants to host application on EED kubernetes cluster infrastructure. We have two seraprate kubernetes cluster one for pre-production and one for production, maintained by the TID-S3DF group. A small tutorial on how kubernetes work can be found here.

Deployment orchestration is seamlessly managed by ArgoCD, a tool that implements the GitOps continuous delivery paradigm. For each project, a corresponding configuration project is maintained, meticulously tracked by ArgoCD. This configuration project houses the requisite files necessary for deploying the application on Kubernetes clusters. You can find more documentation here.
