Status Report 25 april 2007 - Beam Test working group

    • No meeting due to italian national holiday
    • CU shipment to ISOC/SLAC: the Calibration Unit and associated EGSE and MGSE was shipped on april 24 to SLAC and is scheduled to arrive by april 29. The INFN-Pisa team will support receiving test during the ISOC workshop and will handoff the CU to ISOC for usage as a LAT testbed.

  • Reprocess status
    • new BTRelease ready (Michael) and under test (Franz) before launching new MC production. Main features:
      • synchronized with GlastRelease G9r25 (Leon)
      • new G4Generator(v5r17p2gr0) to allow CU tilting (Leon)
      • TkrDigi(v2r6): updated simple TKR digi algorithm with charge sharing, cross-talk for heavy ions clustering
      • Bari Level1 TKR digi (Monica): charge sharing in place
    • Data reprocess
    • Scheduled MC production
      • Bari to provide a minimal list of MC runs to produce with both simple and Bari algorithms to compare
      • Francesco and Johan to define list of hadronic physics models to test
