Telecon Access Information

Our telecons are hosted by EVO http://evo.caltech.edu. You can attend via phone (see access numbers below) or via your computer (you will need to register and get an account). If you decide to connect via computer it is strongly recommended that you test your audio (input and output) before the meeting.

After the EVO tone plays, you will be prompted to enter the meeting's Phone Bridge ID number followed by "#" (Bridge ID= 342841 for the May 14th meeting). No password is required.

  • GLAST news and launch information update (Julie McEnery)
  • Collaborative efforts (Moderator: Gino Tosti ppt ):
    • MW campaigns
      (summary of planned campagins, ToO thresholds, ...)
    • Blazar monitoring and alerts
      (GLAST alerts for known TeV sources/candidates on a best effort basis?, E > 1 GeV data monitoring?, Whipple, optical programs, communication channels)
    • Proposals to be submitted to major observatories (Spitzer, Chandra, XMM, Suzaku, NRAO, ...) (are we willing to submit joint proposals for greater chances of success?)
  • Policy issues (Moderator: Dave Thompson):
    (not addressed in the first part of the meeting), including:
    non-exclusivity, publication policy, confidentiality and conflict resolution.
