Configuring Controls Hardware

Motion control hardware includes electronics, cabling, termination and transition panels and controller software.

It includes LVDT equipment for position readback for slow wirescanners and encoders for fast and slow wirescanners.

Wire scanner subsystems also require synchronisation with ADCs which determine the beam characteristic like size when it interacts with the wire.
