As part of preparation for the new JIRA license, we need to do maintenance on Crowd, which is used for authentication and authorization for Confluence also.  Full access to Confluence during these times may be unavailable.

There will be a short Confluence outage this evening starting at 5:30pm PDT to diagnose, and possibly fix, an ongoing problem synchronizing authorization data between Confluence and Crowd.  As part of this process, the SSO feature for Confluence will be disabled.  This means users who use both Confluence and JIRA will have to sign in to each separately.  We hope to re-enable this feature in the new future, once the synch problem is fixed. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Confluence, JIRA and Crowd will be down from 5:15 - 6:00pm PDT on Tuesday, July 1st, for routine maintenance (updating service passwords, etc.)

Confluence will be down starting at 5:15pm this evening (May 22nd) for an important update.  We expect Confluence to be back in service before 6:15pm.

Please finish any editing and save your work before 5:15pm.

Please contact apps-admin with any questions.

There will be an outage of the crowd server on Wednesday, March 5th, starting at 5:15pm PST to increase its memory.  While crowd is down, Confluence and JIRA will be largely unusable.

There will be a confluence outage starting at 5:30pm PST, Thursday, February 27, 2014.  We need to apply an important update.  The outage should be over by 6:15pm (probably sooner).

There will be brief outages of Confluence, JIRA and Crowd while Tomcat is restarted for eachof them.

There will be an outage to update the SSL certificates for the Confluence and JIRA servers on Monday, Sept 16, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Confluence outage postponed

Users have requested that we postpone this outage, due to important upcoming meetings, reviews, etc.  We will reschedule for some time in September.

In order to apply a "critical" security patch, we will have a brief Confluence outage today, August 5th,  at 5:30 pm PDT.

We encountered technical difficulties during the upgrade process and have reverted to the previous version (3.2.1).

Once we have a solution, we will reschedule this upgrade.  Our apologies for any inconvenience.
