Highlights

Extragalactic Science

  • PKS 0426-380 detected at flux (0.6 +/- 0.2)*10^-6 ph/cm^2/s
  • PKS 0537-441 detected at flux (1.1 +/- 0.3)*10^-6
  • 4C +21.35 at (0.8 +/- 0.2)*10^-6
  • 3C 454.3 at (7.0 +/- 0.8)*10^-6

Galactic Science

  • LS I+61 303, typical pulsars, typical fluxes
  • 2 ASP sources listed as UNID probably associated with 1FGL sources; both low TS in confused regions.

Technical notes

  • Fluxes are given in units of ph × cm^?2^ s^?1^ in the 0.1 ÷ 300 GeV energy band.
  • Science Tools: v9r15p6
  • Results are obtained with unbinned likelihood using iLat and the new FA-dedicated package,
    fareport, with its four scripts: jobs.py, day.py, six.py and wiki.py

On Duty Flare Advocates:

Highlights

Extragalactic Science

  • 3C273 extremely bright at flux (5.0 +/- 0.7)*10^-6 ph/cm^2/s, and TS=381 for the day.
  • PKS 1510?08 still bright at flux 1.6 +/- 0.5
  • PKS 0727?11 detected at flux 0.67 +/- 0.24
  • 4C +38.41 detected at flux 0.95 +/- 0.30
  • 3C 454.3 at flux 2.6 +/- 0.4

Galactic Science

  • ASPJ180224m251551, listed as 53' from HESS J1800?240B, shows up in ASP with flux 1.6 +/- 1.0. However with TS=5, and that large an error bar, it seems likely to be spurious
  • Usual pulsars

UFOs

  • No UFOs in the daily run. However, ASPJ114402m032728 shows up in one six hour run with a TS of 34 and a flux of 3.3 +/- 1.2.

3C454.3 is detected in a flaring state with a flux of 2.89+/-0.18.
1633+382, BLlac and 3C279 show an increasing trend in the weekly time scale.

Galactic Science

  • The usual culprits:
    • Crab, Geminga, Vela
    • LSI +61 303 (TS=61) at 1.71 ± 0.40 × 10−6
    • PSR J1709−4429 (TS=18) at 1.83 ± 0.67 × 10−6
    • LAT PSR J1836+5925 (TS=139) at 0.88 ± 0.21 × 10−6
    • LAT PSR J2021+4026 (TS=53) at 1.65 ± 0.45 × 10−6
    • PSR J2229+6114 (TS=34) at 0.68 ± 0.26 × 10−6

UFOs or not identified

  • Within 1° of ASPJ174500m291500: G359.95−0.04, 1E 1743.1−2843, EMS1178, EMS1173
  • A 6hr run full of flares (#1675), all from unidentified locations:
    • Galactic ASPJ202138p413136, quite close to another unid flare ASPJ202051p340720 in #1674
    • Extragalactic (b =26) ASPJ182854p574730 (TS=22) at 1.15 ± 0.51 × 10−6
      10' from cluster of galaxies ZW 1826+5745 (ASDC Tools)
