Since arriving at SLAC in 2002, Tatsumi Koi has been involved in various simulation projects for HEP experiements. He is currently a member
of the Geant4 collaboration. Within Geant4, Tatsumi has served as developer of nucleus-nucleus interaction and low energy neutron
transportations. Tatsumi is also a member of the ATLAS experiments.
Tatsumi's current interests include developing and validating models for low energy nucleus-nucleus interactions.
Originally from the Shinjuku of Tokyo Japan, Tatsumi has a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees in physics from the Nagoya University (Nagoya Japan).
He began his research career in interplanetary space science and come down to satellites and aircrafts altitude and finally reach ground
level and hope to go down.
