There are several possible sources of errors when the simulator crashes or exhibits "anomalous" or incorrect behavior. It is imperative to make all bug reports as detailed as possible.
A good bug report should list the following.
- SLIC version.
- Operating System.
- g++ compiler version.
- Input StdHep file.
- List of events
- Steps for repeating the error, or showing its effects in an analysis package such as JAS3.
