Welcome to my home page at SLAC. I am a National Research Council research associate at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
I am currently working on an international space mission, the Fermi  Gamma-Ray Space Telescope. Fermi is a joint mission between several US institutions including NASA, the US Navy, Stanford University and others, as well as European and Japanese collaborators. I work mainly in the field of pulsars. During my doctoral research I worked in the field of Very High Energy Gamma-Ray Astrophysics. My main work was the development and implementation of a new background rejection technique for the Milagro gamma-ray detector near Los Alamos, New Mexico. You can find a copy of my thesis here.
