    • Instructions from Kaz:
1). Mount the detector using a black adapter plate.  Detector connected to the adapter
plate using only 2 screws (not all 4). (In fact, do we even need the adapter plate?) Done. Note: supplied adapter plate does not match mounting pattern in detector case.  Need to find alternate plate.
      2). Prepare water chiller
      - Disconnect water chiller from network (if it's connected). Done.
      - Prime the water chiller using the short hose (in the FAR hall detector cabinet
lock key is 0624).  Run the pump at 100%, 50%, and 10%, 10minutes at each setting. (Done)
          15% = 2.8 l/m
          50% = 3.4 l/m
        100% = 4.4 l/m
      - Reconnect water chiller to network. (Done)
      - connect water chiller to detector, and start running.  Flow should be ~2.4LPM. (2.5l/m) (Done)
      3). epix10k2m power
      - attach power cables to PDU...label cables if necessary.  (Done).  Do not attach to
      epix10k2m yet.
      - pin-out the epix10k2m power cables (Done, values below).

      - if pin-out is ok, turn off power, and connect cables to detector. (done)
      - If water is flowing, turn on power.  Holding off on this since there is no fiber available to let us know whether the detector is working.

    Notes:
  • Detector bolted to stand just out of x-ray beam per Chollet instruction.  To be positioned later.
  • 15 ft. ePix Quad cables labelled and connected.
  • Chiller loop short-circuited, run @18C and 15% power for ~10 min.  Had to refill water to eliminate bubbles....seemed easier to get rid of bubbles with reservoir cap removed/loose.

Checkout August 7:

  • Detector mounted to motorized stage, powered up nominally at 0845.  Allow 15 min to stabilize.
  • Failed 'epix10k_pedestals' script.  Detector looks good in AMI (considering no peds).
  • ~0930 Q1 tripped....reset with wider env limits.
  • Silke thinks pedestal script is fixed...'epix10_pedestals', then 'makepeds' to load.  Seems good.  Check timing first.
  • Move integration window via acqToasicRDDelay (1 unit = 10ns).  Started ~78032, verified off at 68032, so good @78k.
  • Ag behenate, all five gain settings.  No attenuation.  Hi/Lo gain autorange is no good.  Quad 1 is way off.
  • Set fixed high, make new pedestal, record ring shape for geometry.
  • While checking motion limits to adjust ring coverage, we handed off the beam to AD and they were unable to return it for a couple of hours....
  • Record voltage/currents:
