SUNCAT supports file sharing for all people with a SLAC unix account, using a simple drag-and-drop interface.
Instructions for Mac
- Download appropriate version of the free cyberduck program from http://cyberduck.ch
- drag the downloaded file into your "Applications" folder
- run the application
- Click on "Open New Connection"
- Select "SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)" using the top drop-down menu
- Enter your SLAC UNIX username/password
- For "Path" use: /afs/slac/g/suncat/vol2/suncatshare
- Click connect
- After connecting, using the "action" drop-down menu at the top, select "New Bookmark". You only have to do this once, in order to remember the above settings.
- For future connections, you can click on the "bookmark" icon
