The Data Handling Group met on Friday, March 21, 2008:  agenda

Tomcat Servers

• Upgraded to newest version of Tomcat

Oracle

• New servers are installed.
  • Currently we are stress testing an image of the production pipeline.
  • Also playing with tuning options
  • SCCS is working to set up 'hot' failover
  • Looking to do switch sometime in first two weeks of April
• Oracle Wallet is being used in DEV and TEST to secure passwords (to satisfy new Security requirement)

Data catalog

• New version installed
  • New Line-mode Client with ability to query for datasets by meta-data and location
  • Improved dataset searching available in pipeline jython scriptlet processes
