  • For offline reprocessing SlowUpdate will be used for the background image, because this gets "broadcast" by psana to all cores
    • ideally this would look like an epics variable so it fit naturally into the psana epics-store
    • either way I think believe this needs work
  • If the rate of those background images is too low, we can consider duplicating the background data in every shot (an extra 400MB/s at for a 2048px piranha at 100kHz)
