Will start off with full energy electrons (FEE) to set the momentum resolution.

Run the org.hps.analysis.trackingperformance.FeeAnalysisDriver (currently in git issue #309 pending a pull request) over the fee skims to produce the plots.

2015 Data, pass8, Run 5265 (SVT@1.5mm), FEE skims, top and bottom 6-hit tracks.

And, for comparison, 2015 Data, pass4, Run 5772 (SVT@0.5mm), FEE skims, top and bottom 6-hit tracks.

  1. Thanks Norman!  Clearly does NOT support my impression that resolution has suffered with more alignment work, but 0.5mm/1.5mm comparisons (different only in bottom) are interesting.

  2. pass4 was actually a pretty good recon.

  3. BTW, even if everyone should know them (I don't), could the FEE skim cuts be listed here?

  4. For this analysis, I start with the FEE skims and apply the following additional cuts:

    • Pass singles0 or singles1 trigger
    • One and only one ECal cluster
      • cluster energy > 0.6 GeV
      • cluster seed energy > 0.4 GeV
      • greater than two hits in cluster
      • cluster time between 40 and 49 ns
    • Analyze ReconstructedParticle that has a matched track and cluster.
