Magnets
  • Krister have not had much time to work on magnet controls
  • Krister will needs to install the beam stopper motor cables now.
  • Beam viewer motor cables will be next.
Motors
  • Sho presented the slides that Takashi prepared.
  • The bottom line was that Takashi was able to use the XPS controller to test the stages and he came to conclusion that the stages so far satisfy the SVT requirements. 
SVT voltages
  • Pelle is working on specifications for the hybrid LV and BIAS channels for SVT.
  • He will have a discussion with people at SLAC and send Hovanes an e-mail how to proceed with DAQ CA server.
Interlocks
  • Krister and Hovanes installed the SVT interlocks chassis in the Hall B counting house
  • We need to decide what PLC programming licenses to use"
    • Use CLAS12 license if CLAS12 is buying one
    • Try to use Hall D license while they are not using it
    • Likely date of SVT arrival to JLab is the middle of August.

Action items

  • Krister will install the cables for the beam stopper and beam viewer.
  • Hovanes will send an e-mail to Takashi about using homing without "Index" signal from the encoder.
  • Hovanes will discuss with Sergey and Ken the possibility of using CLAS12 PLC licenses.
  • Hovanes will implement fake records for the hybrid low voltages on the SVT voltage IOC.
  • Pelle will send Hovanes en email about the plans to develop the DAQ CA server.
