Attendees:  Toby Burnett, Joanne Bogart, Anders Borgland, Jim Chiang, Richard Dubois, Navid Golpayegani, Tom Glanzman, Heather Kelly, Leon Rochester, Tracy Usher, Eric Winter

Navid asks if optimized and debug versions of externals are truly necessary.  Some developers that want the debug versions already have them, but those that do not, would require a clear path to obtaining the debug versions if it becomes necessary.  That clear path would either be detailed instructions or to be able to go to Navid who will provide them.

ScienceTools is currently looking to include IExternal/flight.  It was determined that this was due to IExternal/cmt/requirements "using" IExternal/flight which no longer is in use.

Had a discussion about learning how to checkout and build the software.  It is strongly recommended that people read the workbook red nav bar.  Those of us who have a hard time locating what we want in the workbook are referred to the search utility and the site map.

Jim mentions that he is often asked about things missing in the workbook.  He asks how should he handle that?  It's suggested that he use the JIRA STDOC  https://jira.slac.stanford.edu/browse/STDOC

The current GLAST_EXT structure is being used in the SCons development at this time.
