| Night time ops calls | Sebastian | - Sebastian will talk to Axel
- As far as Sebastian knows we are not doing owl shift calls
- Sebastian will find out
- Sebastian. Maybe we add info to CM summary display to add more info about what you should and when to call experts
- e.g. cavity calibration failed might not need a call (but maybe if you can't maintain energy?)
- Lauren has started dragging EOIC's into troubleshooting, at least so they can gather more info before calling
- Lauren is interested in expanding low level trouble shooting
|
| SRF Maintenance Meeting |
| - 30 min once a week meeting to discuss issues that are coming/becoming more common
- Lauren: should include EOICs.
- Sebastian: maybe just Janice as an intermediate to keep the group small
- Questions about training again. Showing just one EOIC something might not spread well through ops.
- Could join weekly ops Thursday meeting and have window for us there for people to complain about SRF issues they've had recently

| SSA Char Failure |
| - Had an SSA fail SSA char last night and Lauren got called
- Was needed to get needed gradient in L
- This is one of those things where it just fails because (maybe temp changes?) just cause a point to fail
- Should we re-institute a thing where it lowers drive max and tries again?
- Use saved value, iterate down some amount, don't save a new value?
- Lauren: should we start another wiki article with some more SSA trouble shooting when auto-setup fails?
- Lisa: hard to maintain info in two places? Pop up in auto setup gui?
- Lauren: how to feed Lisa the issues?
- Gui problem/bug: github
- Process choice? Issue? Missing feature? Gap?
- Dan: another layer?
- SSA cal fail. Setup fails and new layer appear "do you want to try again" but then does something slightly differently (like lower drive max)
- Lauren: wiki is nice because we can all easily edit it
- Sebastain: wiki is a starting place for guides while developing them and then implement them into the gui
- Might become configuration challenge
- Auto setup confluence
- Something about spec vs procedure. Sebastian: I want spec to be a how to
- Lisa: we should have another meeting

| Should we detune cavities? | Dan/Sebastian | - Dan: Matt said from PGE side the risk is from the switch-over of losing power.
- More risky! Planned electrical work at the cryoplant and we need to talk to Dirk
- Matt made the point that we'd look like massive idiots if the cryoplant goes down
- We'll also look really dumb when a tuner finally breaks
- Lauren: I'm not seeing this in pamm list?
- Maybe it's not cryo? Maybe they didn't consider it pamm work?
- If we are detuning we have to do it Sunday
- Is two hour (10 to 12 window) large enough?
- Is anything happening between 6 and 10?
- Sebastian has pumpkin fest to contend with
- Homework to do. Sebastian still making decision.

| Weekend on call list | Sebastian | - On call list didn't have weekend because shutdown time was originally Friday. Updated weekend.
|
| Next turn on | Sebastian | - Turning off Sunday Oct 15th
- Turn on planed Tuesday Oct 24th

| PRL Shift Yesterday Afternoon | Ryan |
|
| SSA forward power faults | Ryan | - More reactive power fractions has led to more forward power faults
- Ryan is somewhat worried that maybe in this scenario the controller can raise the max above the specified SSA max
|
| SBLM signal and field emission | Ryan | - Making plot tracking gun SBLM signal with gun off but linac on
- Ryan things field emission started mid september after accidental 4 K warm up
