5min | SRF Hour | Dan | |
5min | LLRF PAMM Updates | Jing | CM 8, 9, 16, 17, H2 were disconnected completely and reconnected during PAMM We should be able to switch these out of maintenance during turn on - Some unstable cavities may have been due to lose connections internal to rack/chassis
Sonya is rolled out detune compensation to all cryomodules this PAMM

10min | Recovery/CM01 | All | - Dan wants to look closer at CM01 during recovery / We should keep an eye on CM01 during turn on.
- Three cavities in CM01 quenched right before the PAMM when gun tripped off due to vacuum.
- There was no vacuum activity in the cavities, but at 1am the same cavities quenched off (even though beam was off).
- Lisa made the call to keep the cavities off since there was no beam program.
- Sebastian also investigated and saw no vacuum activity in CM01 as well.
- All cavities tripped off both times, but only a few real quenches.
- Dan saw no sign of activity from cryo though, no sloshing, nothing on pressure sensors either.
- Ryan – 1,3 were a weird data mix up on the second quench. Not real.
- Nicole/Lauren – Will check solenoid setting during this time to see if that may have changed dark current.
|
1min | CM35/radiation | All | - Sebastian – CM35 radiation level has dropped in new RP survey.
- Dan – every PAMM put the decarad somewhere new and check CMs.
|
1min | PPS Door | Dan/All | - Who is responsible between L3/L4? Is it Lauren’s job? Consensus was, Yes.
- Question of the PPS door in sector 7/8
- It was decided it will move, but not over a cryomodule.
|
1min | Misc | All | - PIV drama, should be fine
- Lisa is going to jlab for Q measurements? Schedule is unclear.
|
2min | Water flow on collimators | Lauren | - Lauren, there was not water flow in the collimators.
- There needs to be an error analysis / figure out how we can prevent this.
- Learn how to do ultrasonic flow measurement.
- Have techs check water flow after installation?
- Solution TBD after Lauren's meeting
