This document describes the process for configuring Firefox to enable SPNEGO authentication. This will allow your browser to use the kerberos tickets you obtained when logging into your linux desktop to access SLAC webauth sites without typing in your password.
Configure Firefox:
Start firefox on your desktop
In the address field type* about:config* and press ENTER or RETURN
In the Preference Name column, scroll down and locate network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris
Double-click that preference, enter *win.slac.stanford.edu,slac.stanford.edu *in the dialog box, and click *OK
