The recommended tools for exporting the data offsite are sftp/scpbbcp and Globus. The sftp/scp method is the easiest to set up, but it's slower than bbcp or Globus. Globus is the most efficient method when transferring large amount of data because it babysits the overall process by, for example, automatically restarting a failed or stalled transfer. The performance of bbcp and Globus is very similar.

LCLS provides data transfer nodes called psexport that allows user to copy files from SLAC to their local computers.
