The image shows that the air-scatter intensity goes down really fast. So choosing the pixels in the high flux region is necessary (Note that the functional asics are the ones on the right. Compared to what is shown in the AMI, the top right asic in this plot has been flipped left-right as we assume this might be the physical layout - to be confirmed)

Initially the threshold was only allowing for the edges of the detector to switch into low gain after trimming the detector threshold most of the array now switches nd we can see a proper image in the detector. Below is an image of a key in from of the detector. That enables us to know the detector orientation with respect to the image. The beam is position above the detector, where the orange tape is  located.


Next steps (4.16 beam shift)

  • recording intensity scans with different thresholds. That enables
  • Pin hole

Added lead tape in front of the detector and repeating threshold scan and exercising the intensity scan for each threshold step
