• Lab cleanup prep for deep clean Friday.
• Hansson: Negotiations with ISO ongoing....visa situation is complicated..
• Trying to create compelling case for Tixel for September PEC...taking a long time, ongoing.
• Need 'triage' list for epIx detectors...prioritize which need repair (complete? forwarded to TID?)
• Need firmware on 10k small to test....
• New detector strategy task force, at lab level, First meeting Monday 9/30.
• Data gathering at User's Meeting this week....questionnaire circulated. Who's attending the sessions?
• ePixBig/Quads status review completed...on track.
• DAQ rack plinth set received
• Seismic table mount components received.

• LDAC set for Dec. 3-4.
  
  • Status of 2018 recommendations: 18 closed/complete, 13 in work/on track, 3 deferred/rejected (Doc available).
  • NEED:
    • RIXS-CCD need analysis of flux limitations (status?)
    • 'White paper' on zero-suppression tradeoffs (in work).
    • Data analysis on ePix prototypes tested in Run 17.
    • Presentation on Jungfau 4M??

• Development Program: had been looking at an overrun, now looking at an underrun of few hundred $k.
  
  • Development options green-lighted:
    • Purchased new Cd rad source for testing ePix platform done
    • OK'd outside testing of ePix to ~10krad done, at Sandia
    • ePix dummy bond to Ge to test method and thermal ($70k)
    • ePixHi-Z cold testing ($70k)
    • Purchase of CZT material from Redlen ($15k)
    • Tixel: Design sparse readout architecture ($100k).
    • ePix: Design shingled high-rate camera ($100k)
    • SXR microwave annealing machine ($60k) done, received
      
      
  • Ops spending to consider:
    • ePixS: Build small camera for use in Run 18 ($75k)
    • ePix10k 2MV (vacuum) parts: $100k)
    • Interlocks for GSFC x-ray source ($15k)
    • ePix100 additional spare modules ($24k)
    • $3k for metrology of existing ePixBig (FY19)
    • $25k to formally release ePixBig drawings/models in TeamCenter (FY20).

Status:

• RA: E-gun brackets in.
• CXI stage can't handle CSPAD weight, crane overloaded, no obvious plan.
  
  JF is focus for foreseeable.
  Wavefront sensor work with Matt Seaburg.
  
  JF interface document development....where do we want to draw the line? MEC EMP testing CSPAD/ePix Date TBD

• PH: Wiring diagram for Jungfrau (Sameen)
• Need automated check on pedestal levels...Jason left and no one has picked up.....PH to follow up with Silke.
  • Silke to establish a couple of data streams to examine performance on dropped shots etc.
• UXI options? Nothing until next year....Liam here this week.
• EMP testing confusing, un-grounded CSPAD testing this week...
• Mike Brown has set up ePix10k and ePix100 on XCS for software development...not done?
• DAQ can run ePix100, ePix10k, Jungfrau....can't yet save data.
• Need to check with Chris about data reduction from Run 17.
