Single 90 min meeting going forward, rather than two 60min meetings?

  • Hansson impressions??
  • Development Program: had been looking at an overrun, now looking at an underrun of few hundred $k.
    • Development options under consideration:
      • Tixel: Design sparse readout architecture ($100k).
      • ePix: Design shingled high-rate camera ($100k)
      • ePixS: Build small camera for use in Run 18 ($75k)
      • ePixHR2.5D matrix: Design and fab wafers ($180k)
      • ePix10k 2MV (vacuum) parts: $100k)
    • Ops spending to consider:
      • Interlocks for GSFC x-ray source ($15k)
      • ePix100 additional spare modules ($24k)
      • $3k for metrology of existing ePixBig (FY19)
      • $25k to formally release ePixBig drawings/models in TeamCenter (FY20).

ePix Update:

    • Still working on ReBaseline of ePixHR with transition from Phase III to Phase IV.
  • VFCCD project approved by PEC, funding mechanism in place..
  • TES re-baseline document has been posted to sharepoint and released to LCLS Management.
  • Chase electrical work approved and underway (question)
  • Project document for MCP/TImepixcan't be funded through LBNL, so overhead added.. Need to get funding rolling, slow response from UCB.
  • Need to conclude the fiber saga.....collect items from Ernesto and TID (timing crate)? (do fibers run from detector lab to laser lab??)
  • Status of 'buy' list?

Status:

  • RA: Workin got update milestone list.
  • Looking at internal temp of airbox and sensor coldplate....agreed that 30C for the hottest pixel is the temp requirement.
  • Need to use 700W chiller for JF4M
  • BIO done. Ready to anchor legs. Tech not available
  • Change request to 15mm central hole
  • CXI stage can't handle CSPAD weight, crane overloaded, no obvious plan.

    JF is focus for foreseeable.
Wavefront sensor work with Matt Seaburg.

JF interface document development....where do we want to draw the line? MEC EMP testing CSPAD/ePix Date TBD

  • PH: Wiring diagram for Jungfrau
  • UXI options?
  • Need fewer photons in RIXS SSRL tests.
  • EMP testing confusing, CSPAD is shorted to ground....need to break that connection to do a fair comparison to ePix10k for troubleshooting purpose.
  • CSPAD Quad given to TID for isolation/testing as next stage.
Omar says no CDS netwrok with fibers...true?
  • RIXS-CCD report can be done by 6/30
Mike Brown has set up ePix10k and ePix100 on XCS for software development...not done?

  • KN: Electrical work to be done by late August.
  • Wave8 for FIM ?? Review conducted....small action list, seems on track.
  • Laser giving only 1.7 mW (should be 20mW)...talking to piqoquant about it.
  • KZ: Draft RIXS CCD procedure completed.
ePix10k requires new MPODS, working issue
  • eGun interlock doc (2wk.)
  • Status documentation/procedures effort
  • How many fibers do we have to run to B84?? Work with Jana to tell Mark Foster (2wk)

  • KZ: Tied up with FEE for next two weeks. Anchors to go in tomorrow
  • RIXS-CCD Procedure draft complete. Review at next detector meeting??
  • RIXS-CCD setup work
  • Toolbox organization/reorder scheme.
  • Consumables supplies received.
  • Can't get dessicator or table legs anchored due to tech availability.
  • Move guest chamber and stand into lab with riggers help
5 minBudget Updatemmck
  • ASC: $268k cost + committs, $14k is in error and will be removed. Asking PA account be closed.
  • Detector I&D (16159): $254k costs + commits ($401k budget)
      • M&S $84k costs + commits ($142k budget)
      • Labor:$133k ($80k budget)
      • Shop:$37k ($66k budget)
  • Other detector Support (16158): $76k costs+ commits ($116k budget)
      • M&S:
  • Ops: $233k spent, $925k remains (Feb Actuals, incl. I&D, detector research, mgmt.), $28k under plan
15 minReview ASC First Projectsall
