Single 90 min meeting going forward, rather than two 60min meetings?

ePix Update:

• • Met with Chris Kenney last week regarding sparing strategy for ePix support. TID-AIR has proposed some funding options to consider:
    • $60k for parallel ePix10k flipchip bonding run (FY19)
    • $3k for metrology of existing ePixBig (FY19)
    • $75k for two new ready-spare ePix100 cameras and additional modules for repairs, depending on yield. (FY19)
    • $5k to build a case for the existing ePixBig with the changes requested by HXR for the new ePixBig (FY19)
    • $25k to formally release ePixBig drawings/models in TeamCenter (FY20)
    • $1k for a pair of pelican cases for the ePixBigs (FY19)
    • Total for FY19 $145k. I'm inclined to fund all o this spending out of a combination of OIP and Infrastructure....thoughts?
      
      
  • Testing has begun on ePixHR: Chip is alive and registers can be programmed...more results soon. Rebaseline after we know whether it works.

• SXR requirements doc singed off.

• TES re-baseline document not yet forwarded to LCLS mgmt. I'm late on this.

• Project document for MCP/TImepix is now in review with Anton. Need to get funding rolling, and to set up a visit to kick this off.
  
  
• Traveled to BES and APS last week. There are several collaboration opportunities that we need to look into:
  • Hi-Z materials effort at BNL (Abdul Rumaiz)
  • HiZ materials and MM-PAD upgrades @ Cornell (Sol Gruner)
  • ePix potential commercialization (BES/MSD)
  • Timepix/MCP (Tremsin)
    
    

Status:

• RA: Added to 'buy' list....need new base plate ($4k??), stages,
  BIO is in review...
  JF mech design underway
  Wavefront sensor work with Matt Seaburg.
  JF interface document development....where do we want to draw the line? MEC EMP testing CSPAD/ePix Date TBD
• PH: EMP testing confusing, but 10k didn't fall over.
  CSPAD Quad given to TID for isolation/testing as next stage.
  Marc Foster: no obvious solution for fibers.
  ePix10k and ePix100 setup on XCS for software development.
  Paper published in SPIE conference proceedings.
  CSPAD going on eBay....better use??
• KN: Wave8 for FIM CDR 5/30.
  Much NEH crap transport.
  Laser setup this week.
• KZ: Working RIXS CCD procedure.
  ePix10k requires new MPODS, working issue
• Laser SoP moving forward...set up so no laser glasses necessary...administrative controls OK
• eGun interlock doc (2wk.)
• Status documentation/procedures effort
• How many fibers do we have to run to B84?? Work with Jana to tell Mark Foster (2wk)
