h1. Toroid Charge Monitor Status report: March 21, 2007
TCM Status Report:
- The TCM system is now generating faux-data appearing as the IMS1 toroid in the lclshome Charge ADC panel.
- IM01, the first toroid after the gun, is installed and connected to the equipment. The cables are in place and ready for IM02 when it is installed, as are the other toroids up to and including BC1. The Faraday cup wiring is all in place except for the pig-tails connecting the long hauls to the FARC. That should be accomplished today or tomorrow.
- The faraday cup signal is now temporarily connected through the TCM rack (LKG-14) and feeding into the RF-hut for viewing on an o-scope for preliminary diagnostics while bringing up the gun.
- While the two required TCM boxes are assembled and stamped for EEIP, the third board serving as a spare has not come up well. Some ESD damaged chips have been replaced but still not behaving properly. Trying to find time to debug it...
