• Y axis motion is reverse of beamline coordinate system. Please keep this in mind prior to any moves. eg: A positive motion from smarAct controller is downward motion.
  • X axis motion is reverse of beamline coordinate system. Please keep this in mind prior to any moves. eg: A positive motion from smarAct controller makes the axis move towards the hard x ray undulator (aisle side).
  • Prior to testing
    • All direction of motion mentioned in the steps below are in smartAct controller. Not beamline coordinate system.
    • Ensure stage type is selected accurately.
    • Always set MCLF to 500Hz before calibration/homing
    • 192.168.1.200 current station D controller - moc-undh-cb18
    • Always calibrate sensor first
    • Finding reference on Y axis, use reverse direction only.
    • There is interference in +Y direction

To do:

  • Find X axis direction with respect to the beam
  • Add Homing routine in epics and disable motor record home features.
  • Disable motor record if axis is not referenced/homed
  • Limit range of motion in motor record.
  • Add an override button to expose motor record
