ATCA-based systems are using branch mr_branch_eic
LCLS VME/PAD systems are using branch mr_branch_vme if they have been upgraded to EPICS 7 and RTEMS 4.10
These LCLS VME systems have not been upgraded because of 2nd Ethernet communication problems (CATER 148332):
These LCLS VME systems have not been upgraded because of unstable EVR fiducial rates and missing BSA data (CATER 149217):
LCLS VME/PAD systems that have not been upgraded to EPICS 7 are using Bpm-R10-3-0-br or Bpm-R9-5-8-br
There is no functional reason for these different branches. It is just historical and due to hoping that this problem will be fixed soon.
IOC-UNDH-BP01 also needs to be upgraded to EPICS 7 and RTEMS 4.10. There is no known showstopper here; it just needs to be done.
