In China PingER monitors about 100 hosts. All are educational establishments. There is no demonstrable change in PingER IPDV during the 120 days shown below.

Mongolia, on the other hand, has a sharp rise in the 2nd week of April. The first case was Mar 10th. On Apr 16 there were 13 cases added to the existing sum of 16 cases. There are no mentions of school closings etc. in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_in_Mongolia.

There is no major change in the IPDV for Japan or China.

On 10 May, Taiwan recorded 28 consecutive days or two cycles of the average incubation period of the virus without newly recorded domestic cases. Thus the IPDV peak recorded at the start of May is a false positive as far as being correlated with Covid-19.
