Open Energy Information and Linked Open Data, from NREL
Not only does it have a good graphical explanation of Linked Open Data and its value (which could be copied and cited in some of our reports/paper proposals), it is particularly interesting that it comes from another U.S. National Laboratory under DOE sponsorship. While the data is not directly similar to ours (and mashups would probably be farfetched), it could possibly be used to demonstrate to SLAC management (e.g., Amber) the value of LOD and the fact that other labs are taking it seriously.
