As you revise and attach new versions of your talks, keep the filename the same (i.e., always use "Welcome.ppt", not "Welcome_v1.ppt" then "Welcome_v2.ppt", etc.); the first time you upload an attachment to supercede an existing one, Confluence will start assigning handy version numbers and upload dates.
