Energy Range
In-hutch Equipment
- Low-Z XAS hutch configuration
- XAS (5-10 keV) room temperature hutch configuration
- LHe cryostream hutch configuration
- Electrochemical bottle cell hutch configuration
- Changing polypropylene window between sample box and front end gas sections
Sample preparation for low-Z Configuration
- This file contains information on preparing samples, as well as an appendix with typical tapes, holders, and films used. Sample_Preparation_082720_picturesandtape.docx
Beam Line Optimization
- Beam line optimization stuff goes here!
- Changing Absorption Edges / Calibrating at BL 4-3
- Windowing with WebGe at 4-3
- CALVERT calibration paddle positions
- 4 = calibration paddle out (make sure it is set to this when collecting on sample!)
- about 37.5 = calibration paddle in (photodiode spectrum plotted as I2/I0 or DIODE/I0)
- can run an alignment scan of CALVERT vs I2 near 37.5 to find signal maximum
Software
- Data Collection:
- Detector Windowing: xMapGUI
- Instrument Control System (ICS)
- Connecting to the Xspress3 detector electronics server
