Installing Java packages in AFS

  • Update the software release/version in /afs/.slac.stanford.edu/package/java
  • For Maven there is a small change to be done in bin/mvn to define the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to the SLAC installation
  • Release the changes with /afs/.slac.stanford.edu/package/java/build/release

Restarting java.freehep.org

  • ssh freehep@jakarta2 
  • cd ~freehep/tomcat
  • restart tomcat
