To run charge injection, execute the following commands in the Rogue interface

In the InitASIC list, type [4,1,1,1,1] and hit enter. This will configure the Silabs PLL to a clock of 168Mhz and configure all ASICs with default. You may want to always run this command to set these values to default.

At this point all ASICs should be generating images. Just enable the DataReceiver of any of the ASICs of interest by setting the RxEnable to True, and you can test by hitting the Trigger execute button in root.Trigger. See below.

Set RxEnable to True

Hit Trigger button.

Unlocked lanes will be automatically disabled in the root.App.AsicTop.DigAsicStrmRegisterX. Nonetheless, with the new firmware implementation, all lanes will always be enabled.

Before Charge injection you may or may not want to start saving an acquisition. If you need, go the System tab > Data File Control (StreaamWriter) then hit the Autoname and the Open button, and it will start saving. See below.

If not save your acquisition, you may want to see charge injection, and plot it live. In that case, you will need to enable the dataReceiver for that ASIC that you  want to see its charge injection results by opening the DisplayViewerX (X is 0 to 3, the ASIC that you study). You may want to collect dark by hitting the "Collect dark" button, hit some triggers to get images, then apply the dark by checking the "Apply dark" check box. You may want to set the contrast from -5000 to 5000 or use automatic contrast.

After that, go to root.App, then open the TestChargeInjection tab. You should see several parameters (defaults). If you want a range of columns, you need to insert the First and the Last Column index. For evaluating carriers, you can just choose columns 100 to 150. If you want a specific ASIC, insert the ASIC index (0 to 3). -1 will perform Charge injections for all ASICs. You can hit Start and wait until the progress bar shows done. Or you can stop the charge injection using the Stop button. See below

Once the charge injection has started, click anywhere in the image in the columns selected so you can verify that the intensity increases as the charge injection proceeds. Once choosing a point, you will see a black cross, and data for that pixel will start getting plotted in the plot on the right.
