Notes from Monday Meeting 4:15
- April 3rd beam to Injector starting swing shift, 4pm Sonya will be available for bpm checkout
- April 5th beam will begin moving down the linac, Qing can check on the blens this week
Commissioning Details
- For the days of April 3-18 RF and magnets will be running old software, BPMs & BLENs on new software, BLD in production testing.
- Just got agreement from Rick Iverson that the RF and Magnets / matlab feedbacks / other feedback related commissioning will occur the week of April 19-23.
- we will have the day shift for each of these days. We must leave the machine in a good state at the end of each day for other work being done on the swing/owl shifts.
- RF and magnets must be controllable at the end of our day shifts.
- Debbie says the PAU can be turned off in the magnets, leaving them with the usual PV control, so we can try leaving the new software in.(test this early!)
- Charley and Kukhee need to make a plan to manage the switch configuration for this commissioning week.
ACTION ITEMS / Preparation for Commissioning
- Partha - we'll need a build of the latest Configuration and Pattern Chooser Apps in production by April 19th. The Configuration App is just for testing in production. The Pattern Chooser App will be released by April 23 to support the RF and Magnet pattern-aware control.
- Sergei - we'll need the latest copy of the EDM screens on production by April 19. These will be released by the end of that week.
- Qing - will release a new fcomUtil with blen status bits in fcomLclsBlen.h
- Diane and Till - This is release of fcomUtil is only needed by the Feedback Controller IOC and the BLD IOC.
- Everyone - the FBCK PVs (from iocAdmin), and on Magnets the FBCKENABLE PVs need to be archived and save/restored
- Kukhee and Charley - make a plan for switch configuration changes during our commissioning week
- Kukhee - archive the PVs LLRF:IN20:RH:G_L0_FB_CTL, LLRF:LI21:RH:G_L1_FB_CTL, LLRF:LI24:RH:G_L2_FB_CTL, LLRF:LI29:RH:G_L3_FB_CTL
- Qing and Sonya - please rebuild and boot B34 Test Stand BPM and BLEN iocs with latest software for further testing of the Feedback controller and Magnets
