GRB analysis for the science tools checkout

The tools in this area are evtbin and rspgen. The expectation is that the evaluators will be running XSPEC, too, but of course not actually reviewing it.

Unbinned likelihood can and will also be used for GRB analysis. The current functionality of the likeilhood should be more than sufficient to do basic burst analysis, but we may wish to supplement its capabilities, e.g., by incorporating prior information from fits at other wavelengths, etc..

Please edit this page to include results, issues, advice, etc., or links to these.

(20 Oct 2004) These notes describe an example GRB simulation and analysis using evtbin, rspgen, Xspec12 and likelihood jchiang@slac.stanford.edu
