On the 1st of May 2024 we used the EOS timing information as input into a P-feedback loop to stabilize the E-320 interaction.


The feedback used the following parameters:


EOS only  P  feedback parameters
EOS calibration20 fs/px
Analysis methodProjection and find maximum of projection via max() function
Feedback on PV:OSC:LA20:10:FS_TGT_TIME
Averaging over number of shots10




Performance during laser energy scans:


Top plot shows the TOA as measured by the EOS, bottom plot shows the set target time subtracted by t0=1255.243, 

bottom plot shows laser energy set point.

Goosed shots were taken out of the plot.

The algorithm could identify the EOS signal location from 10 % to 100 % laser energy and wasn't thrown off 

by the goose trigger. Below 10 % energy, the feedback stalled.
