  2. Viewing live images
    1. Image processing panel
  3. Collecting image datasets
  4. Browser through image datasets and analyzing single images

Overview

ImgMan (short for Image Management) consists the Image Acquisition, Image Browser, and Image Analysis windows.

Viewing Live Images

In the Image Acquistion window, you select a camera and check the "Show Live Image" box. After a short delay, the window expands and you can see the live image as well as the image processing panel, which can be found on all three main windows of ImgMan.

Image Processing Panel

This panel contains widgets for setting image processing parameters, e.g.  slicing, background subtraction, filtering, cropping, color map, annotations (centroids), scales, and the image processing algorithm. Some of the parameters can be applied directly, for others the APPLY button must be pressed (if it looks too tedious, you can check the "Instant" Apply box).
